Vlookup and Sum

Dear Friends,


I have huge data in 8 different sheets month wise. I have to summarize them vehicle wise. Column A consist of Vehicle number (multiple same vehicle no. possible in one sheet). I am using vlookup to do it. The problem with vlookup is it stops at first match, i want if there are multiple same values, it returns sum of the values...Is there any way??

have you tried using sumif(range of vehicle numbers,the specific vehicle number you want,column of data on sum)
