Dear All,

here is my excel sheet and where is got stuck up.

Actually i was doing something like this

the User should enter a code say in column "C", then he has to submit some inputs say in column d ,e.

the out put will come in column "f" ,

With every code in column c . there is a different formula calculate the result in F.

the formula f has values that has been entered for row1 as trial . but when we do it for next row the results come in the values used as trial . what to do now ?

thanks in advance

Hi _f3,

First of all welcome to Chandoo's website Excel forums. Thank you for your joining us and glad to have you here.

Among them you're prompted to perform searches(at the top right corner of this page..google custom search) within this site before posting, because maybe your question had been answered yet.

Feel free to play with different keywords so as to be led thru a wide variety of articles and posts, and if you don't find anything that solves your problem or guides you towards a solution, you'll always be welcome back here.

Regarding your query,I would request you to post a sample file here in order to let us have a better understanding of your data.

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org forums.

Look at the formula in the top most cell in Column F and if it has any $ signs in it Remove the $ signs from in front of the Row Numbers

eg: If F2 has =$C$2+$D$2+$E$2

change F2 to =$C2+$D2+$E2

Then copy F2 down

To edit the cell move onto it and Press F2
