Vary color by point option not available in excel 2010

hi all experts,

I have drawn a bar char with single series. But the look of the chart is very boring. all bars are in blue colors.
I found from net that there is an option called "vary color by point" in format data series - fill option.
But in excel 2010, this option is missing.
How to activate it? or is there any other method?

Please do not tell me that I should select each bar individually and change the colour.

1) Double Click on the Data Series in Chart
2)Format Data Series dialog box open
3)Select Fill Tab
4) In Fill Tab Select Automatic -> Vary Colors by point
5) Close.

Below is the result

Up/Down arrows keys to select the series you want
Then Left/Light to select the point
Ctrl 1 or Color fill to color

Hi ,

I think your problem is that you have more than one series ; the moment you delete the second series , the option will be available.
