Using Countif

Dear freinds

I am using countif function and facing small challenge in that


I am counting cells using countif which is not equal to April... If i mention APRIL in the countif formula it is calculating correctly... IF I am giving cell reference its calculating wrongly

Please guide me... Attached the sample file

Changes the formula to = COUNTIF (C:C,">1",B:B,"<>"&F7)

Note you put I7 and is F7

Is this formula what you need: =COUNTIFS(C:C,">1",B:B,"<>"&I7)?
