Updating counters on multiple sheets

Thanks Giloy. I changed the starting row but when I click on K1 for example and the counter gored up and a new number appears I do not have the colored formatting (yellow/red, gray/green). It only places the new 4 digit number in the next row up, What do I need to do?

Can you upload the workbook? I believe you need to update its conditional formatting rules (per sheet).
 
The work book is too large but will try. I tried to add the cells myself for the additional "Update All" and really messed it up )-: HELP!!!! please
 
I can't access the file. My browser prevented me to do so. Anyway, just create a copy of that sheet alone. Then upload it here. And do you intend to do with "Update All"?
 
Thank you, you are too wonderful for having the patience and working with me on this.. Hopefully I will be able to copy what you do onto the other 50+ tabs and add the other rows of formatting. Please just explain to me what I need to do? What do I change and where Giloy and I will work my butt off to do it

  • Here is an example of the 3 different sheets that I have. The E-O is Even or Odd, The EO is for the U or D's (Up or Down) the EEOO is also for the U or D. So, the E-O will get the E or O to the right and the other 2 sheets get a U or D. If you tell me what to change on those sheets I can change the E and O to a U and D. Also the conditional formatting for the counters have changed From HIJK to JX. I fixed this sheet to reflect that

can you give me the following (you may upload it here in excel)
1) list of all your worksheets (names) which needs this macro.
2) And for each sheet, what is to be placed on the right (either EO or UD)
 
First and foremost WOW!!! THANK YOU!!!!! Here is how my books are laid out. I included how the tabs are ion all 3 books. I am not sure if that makes a difference or not\\

Try this. You may need to manage/edit conditional formatting every sheet. For the code, noticed that I transferred it to "workbook" instead of "sheet". You may edit the SheetNameList array variable to include all sheetnames.

Anyway, this project of yours seem quite big. What kind of game is this by the way?

I will check this out once I get to my computer, I pads are not that great for anything else besides playing games. I realyl do not want to say openly what my project is. Sorry the need for secrecy. In a PM perhaps in time
