Unselecting cell

When holding down ctrl to select a number of cells to format them or see the

sum in the bottom of the screen and suppose you accidentally select one you dont

want.Is there a way to unselect that one without starting over ?

Sadly, no. There is no native way to "unselect" a cell. Here's a link with a few non-native ideas that might help:

Otherwise, you just have to be careful with the clicking.
