Unknow Formula

Hi,

I am trying to take data and have it populate in a set layout. This would be similar to a seating chart.

I have no idea where to start. I need help.

I can think of two ways to tackle this

1. Use Conditional Formatting in Cells to highlight the set layout

2. Use a Thematic Map

If you want specific help you might be best to post a sample file with a template for the set layout and some idea how you want to enter data

I would like to have a data sheet that would populate in the example below based on matching numbers. Like if I assign someone number 24. I enter it in my data sheet and it populates in this layout so I can see where 24 actually is.
