Unique list

Hi chandoo friends,

I was just curious how to create an unique list of cells for all months I have.
More in attachment. What I would like to get is in the yellow background.

Hi ,

You mention only unique listing , but what you have shown in the workbook includes sorting also. Is this a requirement ?

I would put all the letters of alphabet into column and this would be like criteria in countif and range would be all the cells from where you want unique list. Then I would filter only 1 as a coutif result

I forgot to mention that I would like to do that only by using formulas.
Advanced filtering is not enough.
Sorting might be there but it is not necessary.

Hi

Please see an alternative method with a smaller formula (the disadvantage being that you have to manually adjust the ROW() part of the formula if your data has more/less rows).
