Trendline in Excel Chart

Dear Members,

I am trying to add trendline in the enclosed chart, however the trendline is not connecting to all months on top. In some months, it is above bar and in some others it is going inside the bar.

I want the trendline to be on top of each bar.

Please provide the solution

A Trendline is just what its name says, a line showing the trend of the data
Unless the data is perfectly linear, the trendline will be below/above some data

What you should add is a line chart as a combination chart

What's the purpose of your Trend Line?

Trend line's main purpose is to do forecasting or to visualize general upward or downward trend.

If you wish to connect top of bar chart, you can add 2 additional series. Name it as Line Bank & Line Non Bank or some such. You can then change series chart type for those 2 series as line. See attached for example.
