Transpose data of unequal length

I'm new here. I think my problem is quiet common but I can't find the relevant posts.

I have a list of items along with their processes:

ItemA Weld
ItemA Paint
ItemA Pack
ItemB Cut
ItemB Pack
ItemC Weld
ItemC Paint
ItemC Assemble
ItemC Pack

I want to rearrange them as per below:

ItemA Weld Paint Pack
ItemB Cut Pack
ItemC Weld Paint Assemble Pack

How do I do this using Excel functions only? I know VBA can do the job, but my skill is fairly basic. So, let's try an easy way first before I go to that route.

I would use the Concatif() function described at:
