I'm not sure I totally understand you here?

Do you want to put a function in a cell eg Sum or Count and have that apply to several other cells?

eg: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hfr5i0k5hyfkt9y/Evaluate%20Sample.xlsm

Or do you want to put a function in a cell and in another cell state what that function is?

i.e. in A10 "=Sum(A1:A9)"

Result in B10 "SUM"

I'm so sorry for confused

i mean that i use a total row for table from table design, but when i select the function appear numbers -formula- i want to get the name of the selected formula in other cell to know result for which select formula

Dears,

really,i want to put a function in a cell and in another cell state what that function is?

i.e. in A10 "=Sum(A1:A9)"

Result in B10 "SUM"

Hello @Afarag,

I am guessing that no one has understood what you are looking to do.

One suggestion is to reply back in your native language, and I am sure we have someone on the forum who would be willing to translate that for the rest. That would allow us to help you further.

Cheers,

Sajan.

I guess..

* Create a Table..

* Check Total Row.

* It will create a dropdown for "Count,sum,average and val etc" lets say A10.

* Now OP want to set a function.. Lets say Subtotal(9..), and in B10, he want to know.. what formula is applied in A10.. from the dropdown..

Just a Guess.. but interesting.. :)

Regards,

Deb

Dear Debraj Roy,Sajan

I'm soory for non explanation to all ,Debraj Roy, indeed, for example when i select from total row dropdown say "sum" in "A10", i want an equation in "B10" to be the word of "Sum"

i hope to be finally explained

Hello @Afarag,

No problem about the language issues...

Would you be able to draw up what you want and post links to those pictures here?

So far, what I have understood is that if you have values like "Sum", "Count", etc. in a dropdown in A10, which ever value you select, you want that text string repeated in B10.

If that is correct, then you should be able to use "=A10" in B10.

But since that is very simple, I am assuming you are looking to do something more.
