Is it always two digits you enter or anyvalue you enter should be divided by ten?


You can use a helper column i.e.


If you want the 3.4 to come in Col B, then have the data entered in Col C and in Col B have the formula:


=C1/10


This should probably help you.

Under Excel Options, on the Advanced pane, there's a check box to automatically insert a decimal point after x digits. Check the box and set the digits to 1.


In 2003, I believe it's found under Tools - Options - Edit.


Note that this would affect the input of all cells until you turn this off.
