To get data from serial port directly on to excel

Hi:

I've a barcode reader connected to the PC via COM port, I'm reading the data on to Hyperterminal.

I, want to read data directly on to excel sheet from the COM port, can anybody help me with a macro.

Thanks! but I'm working on getting the data through COM port through RS232 and not with USB serial port

Nothing to do with Excel ‼ A barcode reader is like a mouse or a keyboard !

If it's well parametered in system, in Excel when you scan a barcode
the numeric sequence should appear in active cell
like you enter it via keyboard …
