To create a user Form in Excel

Dear All

Multiple Users feed their details of used items in a Excel sheet. Therefore i need a form so that my data base could remain safe. If i will handover this sheet to the user then they may change the formula of this lengthy sheet. Following Things is to be needed in the Form

Date - User will enter manually
Name - Name List ( Give it in Scroll List)
Lane No - 1 to 20 ( Give it in Scroll List)
Shift- A , B, C ( Give it in Scroll List)
MOP- Single , Multiple ( Give it in Scroll List)
Class- 1 to 5 ( ( Give it in Scroll List)

50 Box Is required to enter sr no "From"manually
50 Box is required to enter Sr No "To" manually
one box for each entry is required to know how many items are used by the user . Formula for this shall be - sr no "From" - sr no "To" +1
One box for each entry is required to know how much amount shall be submitted by the user. Formula shall be Fare of that particular Items*No of used Items

Hi Ram,

You can password protect your sheet, in order to make that work you must "Lock" all cells that are protected first.

I notice that the Cells with formulas are locked, all you now need to do is enable the Protection for the worksheet.

For the you will have to create a form, write the VBA for the form and add the data to the list

This is quite a big task, I trust someone will help you with this

I am working on a basic form but am still in 2003 so i may need some help to get it finished. Bit busy with xmas at the moment so it may take a while. Somebody else may help you in the meantime or you could try Debras contextures site for info on how to build a user form. Have you made one before?
