I am trying to create bar charts with CAGR and growth rate overlay similar to what think-cell creates.
Can you help me on this?

Is there a VBA code sample to draw a line from bar to bar and insert the calculated percentage growth rate?
 
Hi vletm,
I am looking a solution as close as what think-cell provides. Unfortunately the attached file is not close to that.
I think you can only to it with some VBA code which I don't know much.
I have searched over the internet but couldn't find any sample on this topic...
I would appreciate if an expert on VBA coding provides some guidance on this.
 
As I said without VBA code I don't think a visually appealing result is possible.,
Do you have an example with VBA on this topic?

As I also wrote, there are challenges with VBA.
Why You need just same looking?
There is only one real 'Mona Lisa'!
You should make it Your looking chart!
 
I am not after "exactly" same chart but at least something visually close enough that I can use in my presentations.
It looks really professional but think-cell license is really expensive...

Do you know if there is any VBA code that you can draw a line (for example: from top of a bar to another bar) within chart?
 
If it's just the aesthetics you are worried about, use shapes and do it manually.

If it's automation and ease of use... you get what you pay ;)

You can change 'all' colors from Sheet as well many widths of blocks.
So, be careful :)
You have to remember to press that button, after You have modified values.
