Stumped on CF

Hi,

I have the following formula in k37

=INDEX(Matrix,MATCH(I37,Consequence),MATCH(H37,Likelihood,0))

The Matrix table is

[pre]
Code:
Likelihood
0	5	   4	        3	   2	        1
1	Low Medium	High Very High Very High
2	Low Medium	High High Very High
3	Very Low Low Medium High High
4	Very Low Very Low Low Medium	High
5	Very Low Very Low Very Low Low Medium
[/pre]
I am using Excel 2007

When I go to use conditional formatting for the following:

Very High = Red

High = Tan

Medium = Yellow

Low = Green

Very Low = Blue

I cannot get it to recognize Very High, it seems as if it will not recognize 2 words.

I have tried using exact text, but no luck.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Len ,

I am not able to reproduce your problem ; everything works.

Good day Len

You may have a problem in the fact that two words, low and high are in more the one form. Very Low and Very High, and High and Low and CF is picking up the Low and High from all instances and formating to the first instance rule. A two word format works.

Does this upload point in the right direction
