Hi Kuldeep,

So, do you think, a single extra feature has been added in Excel 2003+ version of VBA.. :)

No.. and for starting phase and programming / object hierarchical concept.. its best for me.. Simple and Best.. from a beginner's point of view..

Please don't mail me @ mail3debraj[at]gmail.com

Deb

Impressed...No issue friend. you just point out the best book as i know that so much book will make my interest and focus disappeared.

Or rahi mail ki baat to if we cannot share books we can share few jokes at least.

Regards,

Debraj makes an excellent point. Most of what's in 2007 VB is discussed in the 2003 version. There's a few minor changes such as how PivotTables work and formatting, but if you're building basic macros it'll work just fine. Best of luck to you on your journey of knowledge!

Thanks Luke & Deb,

I am going to get my copy of "Mastering-Excel-2003-Programming-VBA" very soon. Your support will always be needed.

Chandoo.org has a huge collection of VBA material right here for beginners

You may want to read:

&

@KPJSWT

Hi!

Nice collection, I assume that you bought the electronic downloadable version of all those books and that you do not intend to upload them to any shared file service and post neither the links not any excerpt unless under explicitly authorization of the author, as all (or most, I didn't checked all) of them are copyrighted. So you'll avoid your post to be deleted as it infringed the website rules, besides many laws and international treaties.

As reference you could check this:

http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/best-books-on-excel-vba

Regards!

PS: If you've read all those books, chapeau, monsieur!

PS2: If after that you didn't get mad, you can try with The Art Of Computer Programming by Donald Knuth, the three volumes:

http://www.amazon.com/Computer-Programming-Volumes-Boxed-Edition/dp/0201485419

PS3: When you're done read this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_Computer_Programming

"Critical response" section :)

@KPJSWT

I deleted your post advertising your collection.

I think it is important for Chandoo.org to maintain a level of professionalism and integrity so as to be taken seriously at all times in the Excel community.

The post may not break any laws etc, but I don't think it is the correct moral thing to post.

Hi,

Have a look at the link below, it is a very good introduction to VBA for Excel

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa203714(v=office.11).aspx#odc_super_introduction

Hui,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I did not post that to advertise my self but to seek guidance to select the option to invest time. As of now, I have started with VBA programming for dummies.
