Splitting Texts From One Column to Three

Hi Excel Community

I have attached a file that in Column B, I have Alan Smith 02/04/2015

I require that Column C = Alan, Column D = Smith and Column E = 02/04/2015

What is the best formula to use please?

You could also use Text to Columns in the Data Tab;

or

If you have Excel 2013 start entering data in adjacent columns and Excel will use Flash Fill to separate the data
