spliting macro or remote access

Hello all,

I work with 2010 and I have some team mates. I am always trying to improve and simplify things but then I must make the change to each of my colleagues.

Since we all use one file from a shared location, I have tried to put most of the code into the shared file but no luck so far.

I want to do something like this:

- macro to copy selection and launch shared file (with the rest of the code to execute on open) > FAIL

- put the whole macro in the shared file and call it from any file > FAILED !?!

The second one was the most logical since I've accidentally discovered this feature - you can put a button for a macro and when pushed, excel will automatically open the file for you (if not already opened) and execute the macro

Please HELP - I am sick and tired of making any change several times for each person in my group !

since I do not have any option to delete this I am posting again

I was not paying attention on the change of windows - I have added "ActiveWindow.ActivateNext" and solved it - works like a charm !

Take care everybody and do not stop trying !!!

Hi, l_mirica!
