Hey Fellas,

does anyone of you how to create speedometer out of the pre designed meter (see attached file)?

Feel free to change 0 on the horizontal it doesnt matter. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Hey, i have made some progress. Do you maybe know, how include the pointer from the original file? (much nicer design).

Also, I want values below the charts to change when I scroll up and down.

Also is there any other solution, because in this format, if I need to copy or move the speedometer it is a mess... There must be a better way :)

Would appreciate your help!

Thanks.

In cell A32 put
=1200*((A29-14)/85)

Then in the Text Boxes below the Speedo's put =$A$32

You are also missing 1100 on the speedo's dial and so the current spacing between the markers is incorrect

Hey, thanks Hui!

Hm, I was also wondering if these two graphs below could be changed so 0 is starting and 1.200 is ending value?

Does anyone know how to do that?

Thank you!

Hey everybody,

please ignore previous comments, I just need additional help regarding this attached file.

So I have found this cool speedometer chart. Does anyone of you Excel gurus know if its possible to add below cells to dynamically set the max value, and the pointer to respond to new range?

To sum up, to have below one cell in which I could write "max" value, and then the range of the chart would be 0-max value.

Thank you very much!

Hi Igor,

I might be wrong in my math, but see the attached file, I had given a new range (yellow cell) for input . Range is 0-5.4

Regards,

Hey, your math is pretty spot on!

OK, 5,4 (5.400) is now the max value. But what I am seeking is, that if I change the max value to lets say 4 (4000) I want that value to be the max (so at the end of the chart, like 5.400 is now). The same if I extend the max value to 6, 7, 8,.... Is that possible?

Hello!

Just one real quick question. I want to have 4 charts in line, but each must be dependable by its own, I dont want all of 4 to change at the same time, when changing the values in cell (I want each graph to change if just cells below the graph are changed). How can I do that real quick?

Thank you!

the original chart uses several named ranges to get it's values. You would need to replace all these named ranges, or change them to unique ones, so that all 4 refer to their own respective named formulas.

Hey,

I have create (hopefully correct) new name formulas for all 4 charts. Could someone just copy paste this formulas inside each graph because I dont know how to do it.

Thanks.
