Regarding your issue, if you aren't yet aware of it, these are Excel forums, not software development or engineering ones. Maybe there are many people here that might know about it but if I were you I'd post the question at the proper forums.

Hi,
Can you elaborate on what you mean by analysis and design phases? Are you referring to the life cycle of a software development effort for an inventory application? Or something else?

If you are referring to software development, there are a lot of sites that explain that. If you are referring to something else, please elaborate.
