Short date

What if excel worksheet doesnot accept short date command.

Tried taking the data in new sheet also.

Short date does not function.

Short Date is a built in Date Format which is only applicable in VBA


Can you explain how you have used the Short Date command maybe with an example?

Thanks for replying.

I have a report generated from website which throws a column, "created date".

This column has date and time adjacent to it.

I remember clicking on "shortdate" to remove the time from each row of the column.

now it doesn't seem to operate.

Tried taking data on fresh sheet, but in vain.
