Hi all,


I have the following words rowwise in a single cell

.

Accupril® (quinapril HCI tablets)

Accuretic™ (quinapril HCl/hydrochlorothiazide)

Advil® Brands (ibuprofen)


For eg. the first word 'Accupril' is brand name drug and 'quinapril HCI' is a generic of this brand


I want to separate these two words as follows:


at B1 Accupril, and at C1 quinapril HCI


Please note, between brand and generic there is a symbol as TM or R which is causing problem

One Trick would be using Text To Columns.


If you want to keep brackets the there will be little adjustment.

1. Invoke FIND and REPLACE dialog.

2. FIND: "(" (without quotes)

REPLACE: "|(" (without quotes)

3. Replace All


And then do text to columns using Other Delimiter "|"
