Selecting a range using excel

I have a sheet having the following columns, PROJNAME, TASK, STDATE, ENDDATE with data across a lot of projects.

I wanted to know if by using a drop down of Project Master (containing PROJNAME), I can see project specific data.

Drop down would not give much data, can you create a hyper link to the project specific data, hyper link in one sheet specific data on another sheet?

Hi bobhc,

the hyperlink stuff will not suffice my requirement of creating a project portfolio dashboard where on selecting the requisite project, the data pertaining to that project appears.

I have a scroll bar designed to navigate across the projects. If my moving the scrollbar, the data in the table can be changed, thats what I would want. I would then take it ahead and create a dashboard out of it to draw further measures
