Has anybody else had a problem when clicking Save as to change the file type?

I have encountered this problem a few times now using Excel 2010, the first time was a csv file that I made some changes to I then wanted to save as a xlsx but when I clicked the drop down menu to select Excel Workbook, there were no options to change the file type, if however I copied the data from the csv file and pasted it into a "New" workbook and clicked save as, all the options would appear.

This has now happened again opening a xlsx and wanting to save as a xlsm, no options appear in the save as drop down menu, this is rather annoying, has anybody experienced this if so have you found a solution please?

How Bizarre ?

Did it start all of a sudden or has it always done it with this PC?

Have you installed any new programs recently ?

Do you check for Viruses etc ?

You may require a reinstall of Office/Excel to fix it

Just worked out that its only when there is a live connection to our accounts system that uses an Excel Add in, looks like its a problem for them to resolve then!

Thanks anyway for your help
