have a task list in Excel

task from to days
create account 01.01.2012 01.04.2012 4
setup server 01.01.2012 01.04.2012 91
end user test 01.02.2012 01.03.2012 29

and need a transformation to a month planing with the effort per month like that

month effort
01.2012 23,75
02.2012 114,75
03.2012 23,75
04.2012 23,75

hope someone can help me and guide me to an easy solution

Can you please explain how you got the second set of figures given below from the task list :

02.2012 114,75
03.2012 23,75
04.2012 23,75

While you revert to Narayan's question, can you also say why the number of days for the second and third activities are 91 and 29 respectively, when the days are actually 92 and 29? Are you considering some kind of holiday in between? If yes, that's probably why the number of days for the first activity is coming to exactly 4 (which is the total number of days)
