Required colour in using if formula

dear all,

i just want to know how a 'if' formula should be written where the output result with be a specific colour. for an example =if(A1=B1,"True',"False"), here i want the word "True" colour will be Green and "False" colour will be Red. i know it will be possible with conditional formating but i just want to know the use of colour in formula. Thanks in advance.
 
Yes, You need to set it up using CF
You need one set of conditions for each color option you have
Unfortunately you can't do =if(a=B, Color 1 ...etc)
