Hi Paramveer ,
I am sure you will take away something from Evans' post.
I would like to add my own opinion , because you had addressed me through a private message.
I am not so much bothered by your language or tone or anything that you post ; I have earlier mentioned in another context , that my reasons for answering are only 2 :
- I would like to help if I can
- I would like to learn if I can
Whether they are in that order or not , I find it difficult to say ; sometimes it is so , sometimes it changes.
My only problem is that I answer only if I have the time ; if I do not have the time , I don't answer.
It was not always so ; in the initial years when I joined this forum , I would spend much more time , but now this has reduced. The fact that there are many more experts who are willing to pitch in and answer means that my not answering does not matter.
The only point that bothers me is when people post a question , get an answer , and then post another question which enlarges upon their original question.
If you knew the kind of help you needed , right at the start , why could you not post your complete requirement ? Look at this thread to understand the kind of effort people go to , in order to post their complete requirement :

When I see a question like this , I appreciate the effort and thought that has gone into posting as complete and comprehensive a requirement as possible ; I may or may not answer it , but at least I know what I am getting into when I attempt to answer it.
On the other hand , when a simple question is posted , I invest some time and answer it , only to find that another question has been posted in the same thread ; generally it happens that if one member has answered a question , others do not give it much attention , unless it is interesting enough. So what happens is that now the member who answered the first question feels obligated to answer the extended question.
I have no problem in this , except that I may not be able to devote time to answering this extended question immediately ; if you are willing to wait , I will certainly answer it.
Please bear with me for a day , and I will upload the revised workbook.
