Hi All,

In my dashboard, I want to add a read-me page. This page will be no calculation or numbers involved. However, will consists of assumptions, formulas used for various metrics in the dashboard, etc.

Is there any good visualization or combination of visualization available in PowerBI that can be used to represent the sections >> bullet point >> explanations.
Section have 1 or 2 words, within this section there may be multiple bullet points, each bullet point will have 2 or 3 lines of explanations.

Need some innovative idea to display them rather than a plain text or tabular format. Any links or leads will be helpful.

Regards,

Hello Prasad DN

Thats the great question and my favorite only what you can doto make your read-me page in Power BI more visually engaging, you can consider using the following visualizations:

1. InfoCard Visual:
- Use sections as InfoCard titles.
- Bullet points can be represented as key data points in the InfoCard.
- Use tooltips to provide detailed explanations.

2. Smart Narrative Visual:
- Create a narrative with sections and bullet points.
- It automatically generates natural language descriptions based on your data.

3. Chiclet Slicer:
- Use each chiclet as a section.
- Bullet points can be options within each chiclet.
- Clicking on a chiclet could show detailed explanations.

4. Data-driven Commentary:
- Utilize the Data-driven commentary feature to add text explanations.
- Link each commentary to a specific section or bullet point.

5. Hierarchy Slicer:
- Use the hierarchy slicer for sections and bullets.
- It provides a structured way to navigate through different levels.

For more inspiration and detailed examples, you can explore the

[Power BI Custom Visuals Gallery](https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/home?category=PowerBIVisuals) or the [community forums](https://community.powerbi.com/).

Remember to consider the readability and user-friendliness of your dashboard, ensuring that the information is easily digestible for your audiences and ofcourse depends on your requirement
