Re-orient text on horizontal bar graph axis, 2 columns used to label axis

I am using Excel 2011 for Mac. I am using horizontal bar charts to display percentages, but also need to include the values of those percentages (ie, something might be 57% of my data, and have a value of say 12). I haven't been able to make labels that display both percentage and value (I don't want to edit the label itself if I can avoid it), so I have set up my data with value, label, and percentage in 3 columns going from left to right. When I make my chart, this displays the values to the left of my data labels. But, the values are on their sides. I would like them to be oriented regularly (horizontally). I have tried re-orienting them by formatting the axis, but that only allows me to change the orientation of the labels, not the values. I have tried changing the orientation of the values within the cells, but that does not work, even when I re-do the entire chart. How do I make both the values and the labels horizontal? I would like all the information on my axis to be horizontal. Thank you.

Right click on the Label

Format label

Tick the Percentage and values box

You can add/change the seperator in the dialog somewhere

there should also be a Text orientation in the label Format dialog
