I am assuming you have some numeric data you want to divide as in your post. Feel free to upload a sample workbook, with any additional explanations / clarifications. That would make it easier to help you.
Hi Sajan,
Attached the workbook. I don't have numerical data. it's just text columns.
salesstage-5 is final stage in the sales
sales-0 is calls
sales-1 is email
sales-2 is face to face meeting
.
.
sales-5 sales achieved
calls made/sales achieved is the ratio i need to get similarly for other emails/sales achieved.
This ratio is useful to know what calls achieved// emails achieved.
Hello Susmitha,
As you know, a ratio requires two numbers to calculate. So I am not sure what to make of your comment that you do not have numeric data.
I am assuming there is more to your question... so will wait for further clarification.
Hi, susmitha!
You aren't absolutely clear at all but taking a blind shot try this in C2:
=SUMAR.SI(A$2:A$23;A3;B$2:B$23)/SUMA(B$2:B$23) -----> in english: =SUMIF(A$2:A$23,A3,B$2:B$23)/SUM(B$2:B$23)
Copy down as required.
Regards!
