quick Question

can some one please post as to how to enter the date in the following format:

Format: Monday,28-05-2012.

have tried all the formulas in the date menu and not one of those will give me the required format.

Hi Ausikenoath

Follow below procedure to get the date in required format

1. Right click on the cell where you have entered date.

2. Go to "Formats" and Select "Customs"

3. Below "Type" enter "dddd, dd-mm-yyyy"

4. Now enter date in this format "05/28/2012".

Its working fine with me here,

Try to change the format first and enter the date.


mean time am using MS office2007 here.

ill try again but have tried three times now and still the same result and i use MS Office2010
