Hi, I am trying to create a Vlookup where I have a set of classification short codes (SSU, WG, RG, RO) but the customer breaks each of those classes into 8 digit codes for ST, OT, DT (SSU ST = 12345678, SSU OT = 12345777, SSU DT = 123458888).
The first tab has ST OT DT at the top, and the SSU, WG, RG, RO on the left hand side of the sheet.
The second tab has all the vital information which include a billing rate for SSU, WG, RG, RO if it is ST, OT, DT, and those 8 digit codes.
My goal is to allow the 1st tab to be filled in with hours without the user having to know each of those 8 digit codes, which are on page 2.
Is there a formula that would work for this instance? I'm at a loss.
Thank you in advance for your help, and I can provide screen shots as well.
