Project Plan in Excel

Hi Chandoo


I need a project plan which should have following features


1. There are 10 activities in one location

2. There are 17000 locations (with unique location code)


The excel shoould provide Location wise and activity wise summary. Can you help me

Hi, srikanth.purohit!

Why don't you build the project schedule in Excel (it's easier to copy and paste data), then you export it, import it from Microsoft Project, and work within it? If you need coming back to Excel, just export from MP and import into ME.

If you are tracking 170 000 activites, and each activity has multiple steps, you need MS Project at the very least. Excel is not the tool for you.
