PowerPivot CALCULATE with MIN

Laurent

New Member
Hi, i would like to calculate the number of the AdventureWorks customers for the first year of Adventureworks Orderdate, so i have this mesure :
NbCustomersFirstYearOrderDate:=CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(FactInternetSales[CustomerKey]); Calendar[Year]=YEAR(FIRSTDATE(FactInternetSales[OrderDate])))

But it doesn't work

So, i have tried to play with FILTER and ALL, but it doesn't work and or i have the number of customer for each year ,if i create a pivot by year

I would like to have the same number of customers whatever the year

Have you an idea ?

Thanks

Laurent

Hi, Laurent!

As a new user you might want (I'd say should and must) read this:
http://chandoo.org/forum/forums/new-users-please-start-here.14/

And regarding your issue, consider uploading a sample file (including manual examples of desired output if applicable), it'd be very useful for those who read this and might be able to help you, relieving the contributor of having to build a test file, if necessary. Thank you.

Despite of this, you should explain in detail all the aspects involved in your requirement. Since these are Excel forums, maybe there're people who don't know what AdventureWorks is, and being a Microsoft DB provided/downloadable for testing purposes with Office versions. It isn't that this will help contributors who might be able to help you, of course that they surely would be aware of that fact and know about PowerPivot, but it certainly will help other members who read to learn.

Regards!
