Please i want the cells to pop the name list as you type. The question is clear when the file is open.

Something like this?
First I made a validation list for the range B2:B6
Then I created a active x Combobox. (you can check the properties in design mode)
End last I added the VBA code to the sheet. (you can check the code in the vba editor Alt + F11)
See example.

Thank you for the work and response, it is really helpful.

However still it does not limit you to what you have type but rather brings all the list. Example, when I start typing "Kojo" and I expect the drop down list to only bring names containing "Kojo", rather if brings all the names from " Sheet2.
The reason is that if the names are many say 500 students and "Kojo" is part of 150 names (that is, appears in 150 rows), I still have to go through the drop down list after typing "Kojo" and select the "Kojo" I want.
Example: when I type "Kojo" I expect the drop down to only bring "Kojo Robertson" and "Kojo Sam"
