Hello guys,

i need your help with Pivot table.

http://www63.zippyshare.com/v/85580632/file.html

I uploaded a file and there is a Pivot table with products and their conversion. The last column is conversion (sell) rate that is calculated like sold / number of goods. It is just an example. But the issue is the last SUM row and conversion rate. There is written it is 80 % but in fact it is 291 / 2350= 12,38%

The problem is that I dont know how to get 12,38 % number

Thank you in advance

Hi ,

Firstly , the values in your source table are inconsistent ; if the grand total percentage is the value in Column C divided by the value in Column B , should this not be true of the individual data items in D2 , D3 , D4 and D5 ?

If this is so , then you do not need to include the data in column D on the Source tab in your pivot table ; just use a Calculated Field , and use the same formula viz. divide the Súčet z Sold data by the Súčet z Goods data , to get the percentage. The grand total will also use the same formula to arrive at the percentage ; this will give you the correct value of 12.38 %

Sorry,

those values in my source table are fixed.

But I still don't get it. Basically I want to get that red color value (12,38 %) into my Pivot table (green color value).

Because when I set the green value in my pivot table as the sum I get 72%, when I set the green value as average I get 18 %. So I don't know how exactly can I get that correct value 12,38 %

You mention " just use a Calculated Field , and use the same formula ... "

I'm not sure how to use the calculated field
