Pivot table number Grouping

301,401.66
313,381.80
328,655.32
380,381.80

should appear in 300k - 500k band

and the 3 values >500k are not required.

So I am not sure how to exclude them in vlookup formula.

so if we have 05 categories

0-75k
75k-150k
150k-300k
300-500k
>500k

I just want to show top 4 categories in the PT, as >500k is irrelevant for my analysis.
 
Again "the pivot doesn't have to show them all (that's exactly what pivots are about)"

Just untick that in the pivot dropdown. You shouldn't have to change that whgen you change raw data source.
