Pivot table from SQL source with same filter or slicer for all sheets

I have a workbook, each of my worksheets connects to a different SQL database.
The databases, are identical in structure, only the data differs.

I want to create on my 1st sheet, a slicer or pivot table to filter all data on worksheets according to my choosing on my 1st sheet.

It seems with SQL source Pivot tables you can not connect different slicers to each other like normal pivot tables.

Any help would be appreciated

AFAIK, PivotTables needs to share same cache/data source in order to have single slicer controlling multiple tables.

What you might be able to do is to use PowerPivot or other means to combine all data in single table and control via slicer.

I'm working on an add-in that is getting close to completion that will allow this. Might be a month away, possibly two. PM me if you're interested. Likely to cost US$100 per licence, and I'm also looking at ways to licence it to a particular project (i.e. file) at a cheaper rate.
