I have a list of items, the description of the item, number of orders, quantity and sales for each item. How do I get the description of the item to appear next to it instead of under it. Also, my orders quantities and sales are appearing twice. How do I fix that?

please help

thank you

Hi there

If you are using 2007 onwards, on the design tab, there is "Report Layout". Change this to show in Tabular Form.

This will put all your Row Labels on the same row.

It might affect how your subtotals show, so if you want some subtotals but not others, select the label, and on the options tab, you can turn off in Field Settings.

Hope this helps

Hi, lwilt!

If Sara's suggestion doesn't work for you, then consider uploading a sample file (including manual examples of desired output if applicable), it'd be very useful for those who read this and might be able to help you. Thank you. Give a look at the green sticky posts at this forums main page for uploading guidelines.

Regards!
