when i pivot it; the unique values display in the pivot table ROW wise; however the order goes off; i tried change the settings through data source in pivot table options; but no use.

Appreciate any one has solution.

Thanks

Can you drag the Header for the Row in the Pivot table to the Column position

or

Right Click the Pivot Table

Show Field List

Drag the Field which may be called M in Column Labels to the Row Labels box

Hi Thanks for the reply;

However if you actually see; M;C;d;i are not fields but Records; I would want to sort the records as per source Order.

THANKS

Once in a Pivot Table you can drag the records to re-arrange the sort order manually

Yes; Hui.

I followed Manual options to rearrange the field.

But however i wonder; then why do we need to have PIVOT TABLE OPTIONS->DATA SOURCE ORDER?

Where does it use?

thanks
