Pivot formatting of time in 100th second

Geniu

Dear members,

I am trying to display base data formatted as time [mm:ss.00] in a Pivot table and Pivot graph.

Excel is automatically changing the 100th of second into double blanks [00], which is not equal to the base data.

Tried a workaround found on internet bet changing base data into General format and Pivot field format as [mm:ss.00], but this did not do the trick.

Your view on a solution is much appreciated.

In your data source add a new column called Time2

Make that column equal to the time column but format it as General

Use Time2 in the Pivot table and format it as

[hh]:mm:ss.00

or

[mm]:ss.00

as appropriate

Thanks Hui.

That did the trick.

What do the brackets around [hh] or [mm] exactly do?

Cheers
