I want to share here my own Excel Chess Board PGN Viewer, done without the help of macros that I've posted on my blog and lets you see any saved chess game in files written in PGN format.

Although it is based on the next article of the ExcelHero Daniel Ferry, I didn't use REPT function, neither an XY (Scatter) chart type for the chess pieces.

I used the CHOOSE function and a combined drawing board, with the pieces in markers of a line with markers chart type, but hiding all the lines.
