Hi All

Could you please understand me whenver we input number within the cell that cell ignor "0" if we have lot's of mobile no it start like this 0253256563 , if we input this no in cell
0 will disapper automaticly i dont know why it happend if we change it as text format then we can keep 0 other wise it will disappear from that cell please suggest me any other option that we can keep such no in number format.

Hi Atul,

Mathematically excel do it right, any number of 0's before a number hold no importance in calculation, so Excel remove them. So you have options to show those 0.

One which you told by storing the numbers as text or since these are phone numbers you can custom format the cell to 0000000000 or number of 0 including the 0 in the number say for the example you have given 0253256563
format the cell to 0000000000.
