Numeric value to be copied from one cell to color filled cells

Dear All,


I want to copy a cell value in a color filled cells in a range. for example in cell A8 we entered 1, it should automatically copy the value from A8 cell to color filled cells in a range. Can it be possible?

can u explain in detail,where is the colour filled cells, in that color filled cell you can type =(A8)to get the value from A8, is this u are looking for or something else.

Using a VBA procedure , it is certainly possible ; use the following VBA statement :


Range("C10").Interior.Color


to get the filled colour of cell C10 ; if it is white , you will have a return value of 16777215 ; if it is coloured , you will get a different value.


You can also check for individual colours using the constants vbRed , vbGreen and so on.


So , if you want to copy the value in cell A8 , you need to have a Worksheet_Change procedure , which can check for whether A8 has a 1 or not ; if it is 1 , then it can copy that value to all the cells in a range that are coloured.
