Me again. Would be cool if you had some info on how users can monitor their questions...especially given that people may come up with innovative solutions some time after the question was initially posted.

Not everyone knows the specifics about RSS. So some pointers might be good.

Just puttin it out there...

Jeff

If people login, which you have to do to post a question, you can Click your User Name at the top of the page

That takes you to a screen where your posts are listed along with the date of the last reply

Ahh...cool. I've just been monitoring the RSS feed. Which is a little overwhelming. Probabyl because I keep commenting.

Thanks Hui.

Hey, while I've got you, Sajan expressed an interest in me posting some formula challenges. Would that be a problem given the nature of the forum? I've got some real tricky ones I've been dreaming up.

I have setup a new Forum "Excel Challenges"

http://chandoo.org/forums/forum/excel-challenges

So, No problems,

There aren't any restrictions to what people can post here provided it is excel related

so go ahead

But please don't spoil the EHA experience by using example of Challenges or Solutions provided in EHA.

I was only planning on posting the challenges at EHA that I specifically wrote (plus a whole heap more I've devised since). These were always 'unofficial', so shouldn't be an issue.

That cool?

That ok, seeing as you posed them initially

I try not to use the learning etc from EHA in my work here as I don't think that fair use of Daniel's IP.

Hi Jeffrey!

Just a New Sub-Forum has been added.. :)

Your getting the Post, Topic and Forums mixed up.

Chandoo.org Forums consists of a Number of Forums/Sub Forums

These are shown at the bottom of: http://chandoo.org/forums/

Each Forum has a Number of Topics

If you goto the Excel Questions Forum you will see a list of Topics

http://chandoo.org/forums/forum/ask-excel-questions

each line is a Topic

If you select a Topic you will see a Number of Posts related to that Topic

http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/to-tabulate-a-date-automatically-in-excel-for-master-reboot-frequency-for-a-year

I started a new Forum for Excel Challenges at:

http://chandoo.org/forums/?new=1

and select the Forum: Excel Challenges

Fill in your details and Send Post

The First post starts a new Topic in a Forum

People can then respond to your post in the same topic

My topic/post is closed as it is a post in the Excel Challenges Topic

http://chandoo.org/forums/forum/excel-challenges

and i don't want people adding to it.

I have stuck it to the top so that it explains what the Forum is about.

And I am sure you want to start a new topic for each Challenge in the same Forum
