hi all can some one let me know how i can do the following:


1- how i can do page of page in cell (not footer)

2- how i can use conditional format?

how to gather status data from one sheet to another

1. Manually type it in? insert a text box in the cell?

2. (2007 version) go to home tab on the menu bar, look for "style", click "conditional formatting", click new rule.

Within a worksheet and without using VBA, you can't do "Page of Pages" -- unless you manually type it in of course (go fred).

1. can be achieved through careful use of a 'Defined Names' trick (and careful planning of course).
