Need Dashboard help/ideas

I have a database file. it is the below:

---- sir, i am new on ms excel, i can use functions only, the file contains database,

please someone tell me how we make a attractive dashboard and quarterly reports.---

Hello jskushawah,


There are a number of ways you could have created a dashboard.


1. You may show sales by SalesPerson and a comparison between them as well.

2. You may show sales by products, by month and by quarter.

3. You may show sales by Month and Year.


All this can be done using simple SUMIF's when you have the relevant structure created... or best would be to summarize this information using a Pivot Table.


Also I would recommend you to check the raw data you have uploaded... some records have the year as 1901...

The title is important both to simplify searching as well as some people may not have experience with Dashboards and so may not waste there time reading your query.

A special thanks to you for giving me this idea, this database is generated by me, cause I have no idea about dashboard, thanks for your help once again, i will show you a dashboard according your ideas, as it will my first dashboard of my life.

I'd also suggest just browsing through many of the Dashboards that are here at Chandoo.org

Just use the Google Search Box (Top Right) Type Dashboard and look through several posts for ideas
