n.... no. of dates?

Gud morning Frnz....I'm in excel problem, please solve it.


The problem is, i have a n.... no of dates & i want to month against date.

what should i do for it?


S.No. Date Month (?)

1 16.02.2012 Feb'12

2 16.10.2013 Oct'13

3 02.08.2013 Aug'13

Use Text(value,Format text) formula. . If you have the date in A1 in the new field type

=text(a1,"MMM'YY") thats it.

1. In C1, =b1.

2. select c1, ctrl+1, Number - Custom - mmm'yy - Enter.

3. Drag it till where you want to.
