hi could you please tell me how can you use multiple page orientations in excel , if i want to change it as one portrait and one landscape

Good day tirf.007

Do you mean you want both, landscape and portrait page orientations, on the same worksheet, if you do I do not think you can do this, you could define the print area n times -- each being a selection of your data and as you select the data you do so as landscape of portrait..

Hi thank you for your reply I don't want to print it I want the orientation to be done in original excel sheet only

The layout of the Excel Sheet is entirely up to you

You need to manually choose the layout and size of cells and objects in Excel to suit your ultimate purposes

As alluded to you should consider what the ultimate goal of the worksheet is?

If it's for printing you need to consider if it is Portrait or Landscape

If its for a screen display or projection the layouts will be different

Then size and color everything accordingly

A lot of projectors fail to display colors the same as on screen so take that into consideration when setting up charts and table colors

thank you for your reply but just wanted to present it in a way we can do in word where we can change a sheet into portrait and the other into landscape just wanted to know if it is possible in ms excel

In word you can, more or less, see the full width of a page and by zooming see the whole Page or you can select whole page via the tool bar/ribbon. But no matter which one you choose you can still work with the page. Selecting portrait or landscape just means you can set your page contents out in a different way.

If you tried to get an Excel to show all of the sheet you would not be able to work with it, it would be too small, you can set areas in your spread sheet to match either portrait or landscape so that your data is laid out as per sheet orientation and if you change the portrait or landscape via the tool bar/ribbon but that is only to change the print orientation, it is easier just to select your data and then choose print selection, preview and adjust print area to suit. There are times that with all the will in the world you will not get all the data you want on to one print sheet without it being unreadable. Plat around with the Page setup section to get the data to print as you need.
